The MFM2 software plugin from u-he is an extremely flexible audio tool for creating delay feedback - in the most creative way. Virtually anything can be created: from subtle, textured echoes to huge, reverberant reverbs to wild tonal steps of a pad or the rhythmic deconstruction of a drum track. The standard features alone deliver a wide range of sound-shaping possibilities, but version 2.5 gives you even more feedback, more control, and more inspiration!
What does V2.5 offer?
New is the input section, which now includes gain, filter and transient balance. Added are granular functions for PitchShift and Reverse delays as well as the diffuser for the reverb. Furthermore you get the so called output Shield (Soft Clipper) with Strenght and Threshold options. The news may seem quite clear at first, but can and especially in combination with the existing and complex tools of the previous version become a real gamechanger.
But examples say more than a thousand words! Here are some tutorials.
