The V7 MC2 is a professional wireless microphone capsule from sE electronics and the Sennheiser-compatible successor to the popular V7 MC1 capsule. The dynamic capsule is specially designed for recording vocals and speech and, unlike the MC1 version, is compatible not only with Shure and Line6 transmitter systems, but also with Sennheiser systems in the MC2 version. Just like its predecessor, the V7 MC2 again impresses with its precise and feedback-resistant supercardioid characteristic, a high-quality aluminium plunger coil, extremely robust workmanship, particularly effective grip noise decoupling and integrated wind and pop protection. This makes the V7 MC2 a particularly reliable, everyday wireless microphone capsule that gets the most out of every voice and prevents annoying background noise right from the start. Available in black or silver-grey.

Aluminium diving coil specially tuned to the voice

The MC2 also features the proven dynamic aluminium plunger coil, which has been tuned for clear and open sound. This captures vocals and speech in a particularly natural way, and the supercardioid characteristic helps filter out annoying background noise such as other instruments, speakers and voices. Your own voice, on the other hand, is raised to the maximum and annoying feedback is prevented. This is guaranteed by high-quality neodymium magnets, particularly narrow production tolerances and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, which ensure high sound quality and consistent results.

Robust production from metal parts

The V7 MC2's absence of plastic parts is particularly important for durability and noiseless sound. The zinc alloy of the housing withstands corrosion and extreme transport conditions for years, and the spring steel microphone grille is absolutely dent proof and unyielding. The ground edges of the basket prevent the microphone from rolling away during placement.

Internal wind and pop protection

The particularly stylish, red inner lining of the microphone capsule is not only an optical highlight, but also reliably protects against wind noise and pop noises from the so-called plosive sounds of the singer or speaker, i.e. P, B and T sounds, which are otherwise particularly disturbing during recordings. With the V7 MC2's red pop screen, you're safe from this noise - and if you don't like the red interior trim, a more neutral black trim is included.

Patented, integrated vibration decoupler

Another common source of noise from low-cost microphones is vibration and grip noise when using the microphone. The V7 MC2, on the other hand, contains special, patented shock absorbers that decouple the sensitive membrane from external vibrations. This allows you to move freely and enthusiastically on stage without worrying about the knocking noises of the microphone.

High-quality, gold-plated contacts

In order to transmit the crystal clear sound of the capsule to the transmitter with as little interference and loss as possible, the contacts of the V7 MC2 were gold-plated for better conductivity. In addition to particularly low-noise signal transmission, this also ensures years of durability without annoying corrosion.
