The keymaXX SDP-100 at a glance
The keymaXX SDP-100 is a beautiful digital piano with a lightly weighted 88-key keyboard and a powerful 2x 10 watt Stereo speaker system. The easy-to-play instrument is aimed at beginners and advanced players alike and offers 128 tones that are suitable for a wide range of styles. The sounds are divided into the categories piano, bells, organ, bass, strings, wind instruments, synthesizer, Asia and sound effects. If required, the sounds can be enhanced with reverb and Chorus effects. The 128-voice polyphony is sufficiently high to ensure that no fading note is swallowed up when playing at high speed. The instrument, including piano stand and pedal unit, has a slim design and therefore blends discreetly and unobtrusively into the living room.
Recording function, playing aids and accompaniment
The single-track recording function proves to be very helpful when practicing new pieces. This allows you not only to inspect yourself but also to replace the third and fourth hand on the instrument when practicing alone. The keyboard offers the modes Split and Dual, so it is possible to play a second sound in the lower keyboard area with the left hand (split) or to halve the keyboard and play with two hands on the instrument (dual). A metronome can be switched on at any time for rhythmic orientation. Other features include 47 demo songs as well as 83 styles and a chord function, which can be played with targeted or completely free accompaniment.
Practical piano stand
Precisely tailored to the dimensions of the SDP-100, it provides a secure hold and a comfortable position for the player. The slim design allows the instrument to blend discreetly into the living room without appearing bulky. The frame can be set up in just a few minutes without any technical expertise. The SDP-100 also serves well as a stage piano for bands and keyboard musicians on stage and in rehearsal rooms, as it does not necessarily need a piano frame. Unless it is placed on a table, a sturdy X-stand is always a good choice for keeping the instrument at a comfortable playing height.
Permanently integrated triple pedal
The three pedals for sustain, Soft and sostenuto are permanently integrated into the stand of the SDP-100. Thanks to these smooth-running pedals, accentuated playing is possible and there are also more expressive possibilities.
Connections
The two headphone connections on the front are ideal if you want to make music alone or in pairs without disturbing others. The stereo output enables connection to a mixing console or amplifier. A third headphone output is located directly next to it. Thanks to the USB port, the keymaXX SDP-100 cuts a fine figure as a master keyboard on a computer with music software (DAW). The triple pedal integrated in the stand is connected to the five-pin DIN connection. If you want to use the instrument on the move, you can connect a separately available sustain pedal.
