Zoom G3x Guitar Multi Effects Pedal And USB Audio Interface Many will argue that a digital (and low budget) unit like this will not give you the tone quality that individual pedals do... but then again, there are single-purpose pedals that cost more than this unit. In a live performance, I suppose the average, non audiophile audience could not tell the difference. At the very least, it is a great way to explore tone possibilities, combinations, etc. and then maybe later buy your favorite pedals. The sound quality is a great leap forward compared to digital effect units from the past. The reverb effects are of particular high quality. Operation is mostly intuitive, but it is a good idea to read the manual once to check all the features and possibilities. The drum patterns and the looper are great for practicing. I wish the looper recording time were a little longer.
Quite different from the competition, this multi-fx unit delivers a lot of bang for its buck.
I like it quite a lot and would recommend it to any one looking for a nice, sturdy, simple, versatile and efficient stomp box/multi-fx, especially if on a tight budget.
