What does 32-bit floating point mean?

With 32-bit floating point, Zoom's F3 offers the highest dynamic range possible. This means you can record everything from the quietest raindrop to a jet taking off without the audio getting noisy or distorted. Combined with a sample rate of up to 192kHz, you'll get crystal-clear recordings even when there's no time left to level.

Connections and applications galore

The built-in headphone jack gives you full control over the recorded signal in real time. In addition, the signal can be sent directly to cameras or other external devices via the line output. If required, the F3 can also be used as a stationary audio interface on a PC, Mac, or smartphone, or can be controlled remotely via Bluetooth with an app (BTA-1 required).

The compact size of the F3 offers maximum flexibility in placement and movement. It is equipped with sturdy side rails, a tripod thread and non-slip rubber feet, so that the F3 can be attached to various equipment or find a nice hiding place when shooting video.
