ps: een zekere must have voor Muse of Smashing Pumpkins fans!
only three words! extreme - unmangeable ( in a good sense ) - funny!
just recuire a little of practice for tame the beast, once you have understood
the various settings you can unleash the very aggressive power of this little fuzz box,
very good with synths too, a lot of character and richness
cool!
There is no doubt that this is a beautifully crafted boutique pedal and the sound quality is enormous. As everyone has said this pedal requires a lot of time to identify a sound particular to your needs. Regardless of amp, guitar or FX chain, there is definitely a sound in this pedal for you (how long it takes you to find it, and whether you can find it again are big issues however).
For all its "tweakability" this is a distortion pedal, and as such you should compare to more cost effective options before buying.
The pedal is often described as "fun" but it can also generate "random" sounds, in a gig situation small (accidental) changes to settings produce major alterations to sound.
The size of this pedal can be an issue (good or bad depending on your needs), it is extremely small (11cm x 6 cm) which means it can be fitted to any crowded pedal board. But some guitarists may find the size an issue in a live situation, it depends on your requirements and how you like to trigger effects pedals.
I would suggets that this is an amazingly versatile distortion pedal in a recording or studio situation. Trying to maintain and regulate sound live or find a sound again once lost can be frustrating.
