Yellowtec's PUC2 Line is a high-resolution USB audio interface with digital and analog audio input and output formats and connectors. Recordings with up to 192 kHz sampling rate at 24 bit word length can be realized, while working with a volume range of up to 114 dB. Based on the Plug´n´Play concept, the PUC 2 is immediately ready for operation. Switches, controls, buttons or displays with long menus have been completely dispensed with in order to be accessible to everyone. This professional tool is therefore also suitable for users who are active in another field of activity such as journalism and still need crystal-clear images. However, an ASIO driver is optionally available for advanced users. In addition, the PUC 2 Line allows latency-free monitoring to monitor recording signals in real time. The input signal can either be monitored directly or"behind" the processor. The AUX output, to which you connect your headphones directly, also offers comfort when monitoring.
In general, the connection options of the PUC2 consist of AES-3 inputs and outputs on XLR, a USB interface (type B) and a 3.5mm socket. An external power supply and other connection cables are not required, as the device is supplied with power via USB. The overall picture is rounded off by a robust aluminium housing, which also serves as a heat conductor. The result: an enormously long lifetime.
Last but not least, this Yellowtec PUC2 Line Interface has been optimized for use with German levels (0dbFS = +15dBu with +6dBu/9dB). His twin brother for international gauging is otherwise identical in construction.
