The YTR-9335 CHS 04 Bb trumpet by Yamaha was developed in collaboration with the solo trumpet John Hagstrom of the Chicago Symphony Orchstra. This trumpet has all the important qualities that a professional musician demands from his tool. A centered response, best intonation over the entire range, best sound development over all dynamic levels. Developed for the classical trumpet player, however, it is also highly regarded by jazz musicians. The concept of the YTR-9335 CHS 04 is well thought out. The one-piece brass bell with "French Bead" gives the player good feedback. The wall thickness of the bell becomes thinner towards the edge, allowing the sound to unfold fully. Bob Malone has worked with Yamaha for many decades and has also developed the leadpipe for the YTR-9335 CHS 04. The MB1 Malone leadpipe provides the right resistance and clean intonation. Monel has established itself in valve construction and is also using the Yamaha trumpets. Fast runs on the instrument and long durability of the valves are unproblematic due to the monel valves. The silver plating not only looks good, but also ensures a long durability of the surface. Included in delivery is a compact double case for two trumpets, a 17B4 Yamaha trumpet mouthpiece and accessories.
