While the alder body carries a maple top with a chic quilted maple veneer, the flat profile of the five-piece maple-mahogany neck offers soft playability up to the 24th fret of the rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with Alnico V magnets, the Yamaha humcanceled single coils of the TRB 1006 deliver a warm, yet transparent tone that responds vividly to the player and thus supports expressive electric bass playing.
