Concert Body with solid Spruce Top and Body made of Okume and Nato
With the FS 800 T,Yamaha offers a compact concert body shape that is ideal for smaller people. Here, a solid spruce top is placed on a body of Nato and Okume and thus provides clear basses, striking and nuanced mids and brilliant highs. The conventional top bracing was reworked and tapered at essential points. This so-called "scalloped bracing“, in cooperation with a razor-thin finish, provides a more intense sound image with improved resonance and radiance. The compact body is ideal for fingerstyle and light strumming. In addition, the chrome-plated die-cast tuners maintain accurate tuning, while a compensated Urea bridge inlay provides clean intonation and flat string action.
