Fully solid dreadnought with spruce top, body made of Nato and Okume, cutaway and System 66 pickup
With the FGX 800 C, Yamaha offers an affordable all-rounder dreadnought western guitar that cuts a fine figure both acoustically and amplified. A solid spruce top provides the full acoustic sound and the System 66 delivers the sovereign sound for the stage. In classic style, the Yamaha FGX800C comes with a solid spruce top and sides and back from Nato and Okume. Furthermore, the top was provided with a scalloped bracing and an extremely thin finish. This results in a balanced and powerful sound with clear basses, nuanced mids and brilliant treble. A flat neck profile and a flat string position provide easy playability and with the cutaway playing in the higher frets is also a pleasure. In addition, die-cast tuners ensure tunability and precise tuning. Thanks to the in-house System 66 pickup, the experienced guitarist has full access to the tone control. In addition to a volume control, a three-band equalizer is already integrated to control bass, midrange and treble. The built-in tuner ensures good sound on stage, making precise tuning really easy. Last but not least, the System 66 delivers a crystal-clear sound with the widest possible range and amazing dynamics.
