Yamaha FG5 Natural Overview
With the all-solid Japanese-made Yamaha FG5 NaturalDreadnought from the Red Label series, Yamaha combines traditional 60s aesthetics with modern and innovative features. Accordingly, a new scalloped bracing in combination with a thermally treated Sitka spruce top on a body mahogany body for a warm, powerful sound with warm basses, nuanced and distinctive mids and brilliant and radiant trebles. In addition, the thermal Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) treatment conveys the sound and sustain of aged wood.
The Yamaha FG Dreadnoughtacoustic guitar is a good choice for players who want to support their vocals powerfully. Furthermore, a shortened scale length of 634 mm provides comfortable playability, while the chrome-plated open vintage tuners keep the tuning clean. A woodenpickguard completes the consistently high-quality impression. Last but not least, a case is already included in the scope of delivery.
In You Tube in guitar forums, every review has something positive to say about this guitar well, they all saying the truth, this guitar is simply amazing.
Not that loud guitar, with rich bass and very smooth treble, without the annoying sizzle of modern acoustic guitars, perfect for recordings. One thing that no one talks about this guitar is the fact of how reactive is to the pick thickness, thin picks sound drastically brighter than the heavy.
Yamaha nailed it with this product I genuine believe in the future this guitar will be even more of a legend than it currently is. To get that sound and quality in American made guitars you will have to pay at least twice as much.
One of my best buys for sure, I am thinking that I should buy the FS5.
