The DXL1K is the new all-in-one column speaker system from Yamaha. It impresses with its outstanding sound quality and its particularly compact cabinet design. The setup including commissioning is child's play and quick to realize.
Despite its lightweight and compact cabinet design, the DXL1K features a powerful 1,100-watt amplifier driving a high-frequency array speaker system with 10 x 1.5" drivers and a large 12" subwoofer. The column system achieves a maximum sound pressure level of 125 dB. With an impressive 170° horizontal coverage angle and 30° vertical coverage angle, Yamaha's PA system delivers clear, high-quality sound over a wide area. Compared to the Stagepas1K mkII, the digital mixer is reduced and consists of 2 XLR/jack combo connectors.
Finally, the Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K mkII impresses with its simple setup. Just plug the spacers and speaker unit into the subwoofer and the setup is basically done. There are no cables, no speaker stands or any other additional equipment.
A matching speaker case for transporting the entire system, including spacer rods, is already included. A compartment for accessories is also included.
A DXL1K can be added to a STAGEPAS 1K mkII system to create an exceptionally powerful PA system. The expansion provides a wider coverage area and higher output power for large gigs. Both stereo and mono playback are supported, and when the STAGEPAS 1K mkII is set to mono, the DXL1K and STAGEPAS 1K mkII inputs can still be used (up to five mono inputs plus one stereo input).
