GrandTouch-S™ Keyboard
The Yamaha CLP-765 digital grand piano features a high-quality GrandTouch-S™ touch-sensitive keyboard with great dynamics and responsive feel on par with a concert grand piano. A pressure point mechanism built into the keyboard replicates the feel just before the end of keyboard pressure. This mechanism is designed to be felt only when light pressure is applied, similar to the keyboard of a concert grand piano. The surface of all the digital piano's highly absorbent white keys are made of synthetic ivory, and the black keys feature faux ebony. This prevents slippage even when played for long periods of time and provides a natural feel.
Full sound experience
Grand Expression Modeling, a newly developed technology in the field of digital pianos and digital grand pianos, interprets the interaction and interplay of the mechanical elements of a concert grand piano. The interaction and interplay of the hammers, dampers and strings when the keys are struck is optimally reproduced. The two sounds of the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos, recorded with binaural sampling, provide an incomparable sound experience. Another special feature are the sounds of the fortepiano ( Hammerklavier ), which reproduces the classical music of the 18th and early 19th century in a natural way.
