Designed by Yamaha, the Piezo pickup is based on contact microphones mounted on the underside of the top. The tops of the guitars thus remain untouched in their natural vibration characteristics. This results in a clear and defined sound that is transported to the high quality System 64 preamp.
Thanks to this revolutionary technology and the careful shielding of all components, the Yamaha CPX 700 II is extremely immune to feedback, even at higher volumes. Another highlight is the built-in tuner.
