Traditional dreadnought with modern features: The Yamaha A3M ARE
If you are looking for an all-rounder for the couch, stage or studio, the Yamaha A3R ARE is the ideal partner. A solid body with a Sitka spruce top on a mahogany body with scalloped X-Bracing provides warm and powerful bass, assertive and warm mids and clear highs. The result is great for strumming and fingerstyle accompaniment and makes this Yamaha model an extremely versatile instrument. The A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) system, the heat-treated ceiling, helped the aging process a bit. Accordingly, this dreadnought resonates with a noticeable increase in response and sustain.
In addition, the "High Comfort" neck profile with rounded fingerboard edges offers a pleasant and soft playing feeling. Last but not least, a softcase is already included.

Innovative pickup with outstanding sound: Yamaha's SRT2 pickup
If you are looking for the perfect sound pickup both for the stage and for recordings, you can listen to Yamaha's SRT2 system. A professional mix of under-saddle pickup with two microphone simulations provides a wide range of sounds. A Neumann U67 and the Royer R122 were used as models for the optimum sound result.
A total of four potentiometers are available: Potentiometer(A) controls the output volume, potentiometer(B) controls the high frequencies, potentiometer(C) controls the level adjustments of the bass frequencies, while the automatic feedback reduction is activated by pressing down the same. Poti(D) controls the mixing level between the pickup and the simulated microphone source, while the two microphone types can be changed by pressing down.
