Acoustic guitar in dreadnought construction with cutaway, solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany body, pickup system
The Yamaha A1M Vintage Natural is the affordable entry model of the high-quality A-series of the Japanese manufacturer known for its outstanding quality. It impresses with its unique elegance and perfect acoustic and amplified sound image. Thanks to a solid Sitka spruce top, this traditional dreadnought acoustic guitar produces a clear and assertive tone, which is gently enriched with the warm bass frequencies of the laminated mahogany body. Another highlight is the flat mahogany neck carrying an elegant rosewood fretboard. Thanks to a slim nut width of 43 mm, it can be comfortably gripped in all 20 frets. In addition, a generous cutaway helps reaching the higher positions which, thanks to the meticulous workmanship of the urea saddle and nut, intonate clearly. In order to reproduce a natural sound, the manufacturer relies on the in-house "System 66" with SRT piezo pickup including a 3-band equalizer and a tuner. This otherwise simple guitar is decorated with a light mahogany binding forming a tasteful transition between the coloured top wood and the body. The Yamaha A1M Vintage Natural is rounded off with chrome-plated Yamaha TM29T die-cast tuners that allow the player to tune the 6 steel strings with ease and precision.
