With
Odessa, XAOC Devices
presents a digital oscillator with additive synthesis and uncompromisingly accessible operation. Additive means that many more tones, up to 2500, can be added to the fundamental. The excellent sounding module covers an incredible range of sounds that can be metallic, bright, dull, organic, vocal, screaming, matte, bass and more. If you look closely you will also find the classic waveforms such as sawtooth, rectangle and related ones.
Sounds not of this world
The layered, sinusoidal basic tones are divided into harmonics and partial harmonics, which are always in relation to each other. With nine parameters, each with its own CV input, the sound is bent in all directions and even passes through comb filter-like tones, but also tones that are directly associated with phaser and flanger effects. With the button Voices up to five tunable voices can be generated, which results in an incredibly dense and unison-like sound cluster. In addition, exponential FM and linear Through-Zero FM are offered. Thanks to the powerful processor, the entire frequency band is aliasing-free.
Expandable!
Odessa can be extended by two modules:

each individual voice has its own audio output, making more complex polyphonic patches possible.
