The models in the WERSI OAX series have been created by using the latest technologies, the results of consistent further development and intensive market observation. With these instruments, WERSI is once again raising the bar of what is technically feasible. The now complete control of the entire system via software enables a previously unimagined flexibility not achieved by other manufacturers.

Continuous further development

OAX instruments are among the very first musical instruments that can not only be expanded in sound and function via software. This also means that completely new features and functions can be added to the instrument via software.

This means that an OAX instrument always remains at the cutting edge of development, even after years of software updates. And even now, a team of developers is working on its further development on a daily basis.

Extension packages

You can activate 11 expansion packs (as of 07/23) for the instruments in the OAX series. These expansion packs contain new styles, new tones and completely new functions.

The EASY PLAY concept

When you switch on the instrument, only the most important controls are displayed. Everything is displayed in the same way as on the instrument. First at the top is the Total Preset, with which you can change everything at the touch of a button. Then the upper manual, below that the lower manual and at the bottom Bass and accompaniment. Tap a tone on the control panel and a page opens with the corresponding instruments. And just like on a modern smartphone, you can "move" the registers.

You will be amazed that you can operate the SONIC in EASY MODE without any instructions! It's simply great to use and you can enjoy the great sound of the instruments without having to struggle through large instruction manuals.

The PROFI mode

Of course, you can also switch the instrument to professional mode if you want to layer more than three sounds. Then everything becomes more extensive - but it's still not rocket science.

PROFI mode allows you to distribute up to 16 tones to the manuals and many other setting options. You can always see how many tones you can still distribute to the manuals in the Soundpool area.

Create a Split for the lower manual and play two tones on the right-hand side and three tones on the right-hand side.

WERSI Drawbars

Admittedly, nothing feels better than the drawbars of an organ! That "full" feeling when you pull it out... that simply thrills every organ fan. With the WERSI OX7 you play the classic WERSI sound.

VB3 Drawbar

With the WERSI VB3 you are very close to the old electromechanical sound: Yes, it is the sound of the old mechanical sound wheels! Pull out one drawbar after the other and then switch the rotor to Slow or Fast - the sound will knock you off your feet or better ... off the organ bench!

SILBERMANN church organ from 1742

The organ by the great Freiberg master Gottfried Silbermann (1683-1753) has been playing in the Zöblitz town church since 1742.

Silbermann was paid the same amount for the organ in Zöblitz as for many other organs of this size: 800 thalers, plus 2 thalers 18 groschen for himself and 4 thalers in tips for his assistants.

You can also play this unique historical church organ on your OAX instrument.

FARFISA Compact

The first portable organ from the Italian manufacturer FARFISA was the Compact series, which was launched in 1964.

The red Compact Combo organ was the star of the series and was used in many bands.

The integrated effects add the finishing touches to the sound.

The effects chorus, echo, scanner vibrato, rotor and an amplifier are available.

Unique WERSI sound colors

The Sonic not only impresses with its large Display and ease of use. It's the great sounds that have been made possible by newly developed audio boards. Listen to the wind instruments, the convincing grand piano, the choirs, the great strings with huge timpani in the low key range. The many cutting-edge synthesizer sounds that can otherwise only be found on the most expensive synthesizers. And of course the fascinating organ sounds that can be operated via drawbars. What a pleasure to pull them out slowly and enjoy the changes in the organ sound.

You can control special sound effects using the After Touch function, which is available on both manuals of the SONIC. Control z. B. the pan flute's Vibrato by lightly pressing the button. Open the filter for synthesizer tones or transform your trumpets into fantastic shake trumpets. You can't describe it - you just have to feel it.

Fixed drawbar tones

In addition to the variable drawbar systems, there are over 100 tones of the legendary WERSI models from earlier times.

These include the analog instruments such as Helios and Galaxis, with the famous Klaus Wunderlich sound, drawbar tones from the DX series and, of course, the Spectra and Atlantis drawbar tones from the WERSI CD series.

Fantastic grand piano sounds

Experience the natural and unmistakable sound of a grand piano with a wide range of sounds covering all musical genres such as classical, jazz, musical and pop.

Six dynamic layers plus an additional soundboard with a memory size of 1 gigabyte are available so that you can achieve the entire sound spectrum from gentle pianissimo to powerful fortissimo. An absolute grand piano experience on the new WERSI SONIC!

The sound colors of the electric pianos range from old Rhodes to modern electric pianos. Choose a soft, bell-like electric piano with a great chorus effect for a ballad or a groovy electric piano with the right groove for a pop song.

You can also achieve particularly impressive sound experiences by mixing a grand piano with a modern electric piano.

Integrated synthesizer

A professional and very flexible synthesizer has been integrated into the WERSI SONIC. All important synthesis forms such as analog, with three oscillators, wavetable synthesis and FM-Synthese are available. In addition, these synthesis forms can be mixed with each other and can be expanded with samples. With over 50 effects, such as distortion, echo, chorus, filter or a compressor, the timbres are given the finishing touches. This creates fat analog brass, monophonic lead sounds, pad and motion sounds through to complex synth/electronic sounds. A total of over 400 modern synth tones are available. The integrated Arpeggiator automatically turns a pressed chord into complex tone sequences.

Legendary strings

Whether moving film music, sophisticated classical compositions or emotional ballads - here you will find a symphony and chamber orchestra with strings, brass and woodwinds and fantastic orchestral percussion at the touch of a button.

There's no need to laboriously put together individual timbres - you can finally concentrate on the essentials.

You will conduct and play your SONIC orchestra with great joy and enthusiasm!

Realistic choirs

The SONIC offers extremely realistic and expressive choir timbres. With the jazzy scat vocal timbres, your swing tracks become a special experience. Or use the classical choirs, which you can combine wonderfully with the fantastic strings to create a very special sound.

A church organ with the Agnus Dei choir will give your Christmas music a special sparkle.

Or modern pop vocals for the latest popular songs! At SONIC you will find the right choir for your music.

Real accordion sounds

As soon as you select Accordion Live, an original accordion tab bar appears at Display. If you switch from one register to the other, you will also hear the original switching click. And then the sounds! Unbelievable! You'll find all the standard accordion sounds.

Genuine sonorous Hohner Morino sounds, the beautiful double octave sound (4 feet with 16 feet) or a great sounding Supita accordion. On the famous French musette accordion, the individual choirs are slightly out of tune with each other, producing the lively, floating musette sound. This allows French accordion chansons or the world-famous Styrian button accordion sounds to be played to great effect. The Alpina accordion goes particularly well with alpine music.

Furthermore, many fixed accordion tones are stored for all musical styles.

SONIC backing band

The SONIC backing band works with a special realization of the chords played. The result is musically outstanding and sounds fantastic.

But just as important for their band are the timbres. The incredibly realistic drum grooves (real drums) are real drum beats that have been recorded and stored in the recording studio with many microphones.

What would a backing band be without acoustic guitars, electric guitars and an electric piano? Or bring a brass section into your own band. All this is possible with a WERSI SONIC.

You can convert styles from other manufacturers into the WERSI OAX format with expansion packs for a fee. This gives you a wide range of styles at your disposal.

Style player: 370 factory styles, 150 of them with Live Realdrums. Four STS presets are stored for each factory Style. Select a Style and use the STS presets to play directly with the appropriate timbres.

USER STS presets: Four user STS presets can be saved for each factory Style and all self-loaded styles, MIDI sequences and audio files.

Harmony recognition: One-finger WERSI, Easy Mode 1 and 2, Chord Mode, Chord Mode with Bass, Interval Mode, Organist Mode, Pedal Mode, Piano Mode

MIDI player: Plays general MIDI sequences; volumes of the 16 channels can be saved in total presets.

Multimedia player: The multimedia player plays all common audio formats.

Audio recording: The audio recording function allows you to record your playing directly and save it in wave format.

ACC database: Style/MIDI/Mp3/Wave database with management function for up to 5000 of your own files.

The VST host

What many manufacturers can't do at all and some can only do with additional and expensive Hardware, the OAX system can do directly - the integration of VST plug-ins! Even WERSI factory plug-ins can be "rewired"! For example, you can remove the drums of the automatic accompaniment from the factory network and route this sound via an effects plug-in.

No other area of music software has expanded as quickly in recent years as the range of VST instruments. There is now a wide range of programs available for every style of music. The timbres of the loaded VST instruments can be used on the manuals as well as for sequences and styles if the plug-in can generate several timbres simultaneously.

State-of-the-art hardware and software

A new audio board with excellent technical data was developed for the OAX system. This results in the clear and warm sound of the organ. WINDOWS 11 64bit and the powerful PC components such as a strong CPU, fast 32GB RAM and the M.2 SSD hard disk are the basis for a modern musical instrument designed for the future.

VOCALIS and TS9000 speakers

In addition to the internal speaker system, you can connect the VOCALIS speakers or the TS9000.

VOCALIS White high gloss

The WERSI Vocalis speakers are characterized by a homogeneous character with a tendency towards brilliance. The mids are well defined and the bass range is calm and balanced. The ribbon transducers in the treble range provide the user with an absolutely high-resolution monitoring signal that perfectly reproduces the transients in the mid and treble spectrum without ever appearing obtrusive, as is unfortunately the case with many other competing systems.

TS9000 mother-of-pearl white

The Wersi TS9000 speaker "Made in Germany" was developed for the large WERSI instruments and specially designed for the low organ basses. After years of almost unchanged production, the WERSI success model is now back.

The TS9000 offers a room-filling, warm, rich hi-fi sound and a bass sound that gets under your skin. And all crystal clear at any volume. The power amplifier and crossover are optimally matched to the specially selected loudspeaker. The 300 watt power amplifier offers sufficient reserves when you play for a house party.
