The Waves WRC-1 Wi-Fi Stage Router is a powerful Wireless Router which offers the Technology needed for successful professional performances. It is ideal for creating In-Ear Monitoring Mixes, and Dual-Band Functionality allows you to use both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Frequency Bands, giving you flexibility. Both Networks operate completely independently of each other and each has 2x Antennas for true diversity and an ideal Radio Link. The strong HF Distribution also contributes to this.
A special feature of the Waves WRC-1 is the built-in DLNA player. This allows you to stream Audio Signals wirelessly to the Router and send them directly to the Balanced XLR Connectors on the Rear Panel. For example, if the WRC-1 is connected to a Mixing Console, you can Stream Music from your Smartphone to the WRC-1.
The WRC-1 was designed for Rack-Mount use - in contrast to many other Routers, the 19" Frame means that it can easily fit into a Standard Rack. It also has an Internal Power Supply, which makes it more convenient to use. 4x Antennas can be easily removed so that the Rack can be closed after the gig.
On the Front Panel of the Waves WRC-1 you have access to the integrated USB-3 Hub. Here you can connect and charge up to 5x External Devices such as Smartphones. After a Firmware Upgrade, it is also possible to connect USB Mass Storage Devices and access Multi-Media Files such as Music or pictures over the Network. Simple Router Management Software allows you to control the Main Functions. However, an optional Firmware Upgrade is available to further extend this functionality.
A web-based HTML Tool is available for easy setup - simply connect a Computer or Laptop to the Router's Network Port to begin. The WRC-1 is compatible with the Waves' "MyMon Personal Monitor Mixing” App, which provides intuitive control and easy customisation of an In-Ear-Monitoring Mix.
