The Wampler Phenom Distortion pedal from the Collective series is based on an analogue circuit personally designed by Brian Wampler, which thanks to two sound modes provide a particularly rich spectrum of classic and modern timbres. While Classic mode is best suited for driving riffing and high-flying solo work thanks to smooth distortion with tight low-end punch, Bright mode adds a rich treble spectrum so that lower-tuned guitars with maximum gain come through in Mix. In addition to the Gain knob for adjusting Distortion, the Wampler Phenom guitar pedal features a 3-band tone control for precisely adjusting your personal sound.
