The Walrus Audio Voyager MKII Seafoam at a glance:
With the Voyager MKII, the renowned effects pedal manufacturer Walrus Audio is reissuing its classic pedal first released in 2011 and expanding the pre-amp/overdrive classic with a range of new functions. The highlight of the new overdrive edition are five diode clipping options that can be selected via the mode control and enable versatile drives. A wide range of sounds can be selected between germanium diodes, symmetrical and asymmetrical silicon diodes to create the Drive that is ideal for you and your genre. Furthermore, a parametric mid-frequency EQ with +/-12 dB boost/cut can be switched on via a separate footswitch to give the sound a present character that asserts itself wonderfully in the Mix or in the band structure. The features of the Voyager MKII therefore enable a wide range of applications, from a gentle clean boost to a powerful Overdrive to an "always-on" solution.
