The Mako Series MKII at a glance:
The Walrus Audio Mako R1 MKII High-Fidelity StereoReverb at a glance:
The Walrus Audio Mako R1 MKII delivers studio-grade reverb effect algorithms that bring a breath of fresh air to your sound between classic Reverb and exotic modulation reverb. The pedal not only offers intuitive operation thanks to the practical OLED screen, but also provides numerous features that give you complete editing freedom for all reverb effects. In addition to classic reverb effects such as Spring, Plate and Hall, the R1 MKII offers modern reverb algorithms that can create dreamlike textures and dense modulation reverb. Among other things, the BFR algorithm enables an arena-like reverb that goes much further and delivers an almost infinite reverb with extreme Decay and bright, vocal overtones. The Refract algorith m produces a charmingly sweet effect that leaves exotic sounds and mixes glitch-like textures into the effect when the Rate knob is turned up - ideal for lofi or other experimental genres. Finally, the Air algorithm produces a diffuse reverb effect that has the characteristics of a subtle shimmer reverb, but with significantly more clarity and crispness in the overtones.
MIDI compatibility and numerous preset memory locations
If you want to keep your perfect settings and recall them repeatedly, you can rely on nine on-board preset memory locations, which can be expanded to a total of 128 presetsvia MIDI. Furthermore, thanks to the feedback EQ control, all frequencies of the reverb can be reworked, allowing free editing options for the reverb character. The pedal is also MIDI-compatible with external devices - a MIDI In and MIDI Thru connection are available. Another highlight of the R1 MKII is the sustain/lush footswitch, which temporarily holds the decay time of the set effect. The Walrus Audio Mako R1 MKII pedal therefore offers the best conditions for high-quality stereo reverb effects that can be used optimally for both classic reverb and exotic sound structures, taking your sound to a new level Level!
