With the Vintage Reissued V51SB 2-Tone Sunburst, Vintage Guitars presents a 4-string electric bass based on the first early solidbody basses of the early 1950s, which conjures up an incomparable vintage feeling in terms of sound, feel and appearance. While the body is classically made from US alder and bolted to a one-piece maple neck, the Wilkinson single-coil installed in the middle position provides an amazingly articulate sound with convincing power and open clarity. The underlying passive wiring is also based on the original and consists of a volume control and a treble control to attenuate the high signal components. The Vintage Reissued V51SB 2-Tone Sunburst is completed by historically correct add-on parts and a timeless 2-Tone Sunburst high-gloss finish.
