Accordingly, the single-channel preamp design, which relies on two 12AX7 - and two 12AT7 tubes, convinces with a crystal-clear Clean Californian sound that can be optimally adjusted via the classic 3-Band tone control. The mid-heavy Voicing II and the additional two-stage mid-kick function also help to elicit creamy overdrives for lead passages from the full-tube top section. In addition, the Victory V140 Super Duchess offers a tube-driven spring reverb and a tube-based reverbt Tremolo hat can be optimally adjusted with speed and depth controls. Equipped with four 6L6 tubes, the 100 watt power amplifier supports the clearly audible Californian character of the amplifier, whereby the power can be reduced to 30 watts.
