Single channel Richie Kotzen signature combo amp with reverb and tremolo
The Victory RK50C 112 combo marks the successful collaboration between the British amp company and US guitar virtuoso Richie Kotzen. The result is a single-channel combo amp tailored to Richie's needs with a classic Celestion G12M-65 Creamback speaker. Despite its unusually simple operation via gain and tone controls, the 50-watt RK50C offers enormous flexibility thanks to switchable boost and integrated reverb and tremolo effects, which can be activated via the included footswitches.
Less is more: Simple gain and tone controls determine the basic sound of the RK50C.
50 or 9 watts
The RK50C Combo's power amp, equipped with an EL-34 duet, offers customized power settings for every application. Set to 'Low', the amp offers 9 watts of power for rehearsals and smaller venues, and can be driven into tube saturation at tolerable volume levels. Its full power of 50 watts for every event is available in 'High' mode.
Tremolo, Reverb & Co
Thanks to onboard Reverb and tremolo effects, the RK50C Combo is much more flexible than its single-channel design would suggest. The signal level of the reverb effect can be set on the front panel, while the tremolo effect is controlled via speed and depth. Both effects can be activated independently via footswitch and offer the extra portion of ambience for every sound. Other effects can be used via a serial effect loop between the preamp and power amp, while the Speaker Damping function adjusts the bass response to the internal speaker.
