The Verbos Electronics Harmonic Oscillator is based on an analogue triangle oscillator with built in discrete transistor technology. The Verbos Electronics Harmonic Oscillator features CV inputs for linear and exponential FM including invertible attenuator and a 1V / octave input.
The module has controllers and outputs for the first 8 harmonics in sinusoidal form. The classic waveforms triangle, square and sawtooth can also be output separately and simultaneously.
Central to the module is a CV-controllable mixer which sequence the 8 harmonic on different methods of control, tilt and mix either directly via the front panel or via control voltages.
The main features of the Verbos Electronics Harmonic Oscillator include:
Width: 32 TE
Connections: FM input CV input V / Oct input Harmonic scan CV input spectral tilt CV input 8x Harmonic output Harmonic mix output Triangle output Saw output Square output
Verbos Harmonic Oscillator eurorack module is unique - analogue VCO which lets us mix and scan its core's extracted first 8 harmonies (sine) in addition to the usual sawtooth square and triangular output waveforms. My experience from the weekend I use it is amazing - get chords and sequences from a single triangle core oscillator. I love its sound and its unique above mentioned possibilities of use (that some of them I tried during last weekend). Apart of the demo videos, check out for example Caterina Barbieri's work (Patterns of Consciencesness, Ecstatic Computation albums) - this oscillator is all over them and that's what brought me to listen and learn about it, and eventually buy it. Since during this troublesome year availability of this oscillator was limited, I had to pre-order it from Music Store and their handling was excellent as far as they could do under the above mentioned constraints,
