With the Vox AC15 CustomLimited Edition ClassicVintage Red, the British amplifier veteran Vox presents a modernized version of its very first combo amp, whose unmistakable sound and chime have been making guitarists' hearts beat faster since 1958. Equipped with a 15-watt EL84 power amplifier, the obligatory normal and top boost channels as well as reverb and tremolo effects, the AC15 Custom guitar amplifier delivers a wide-ranging sound with an authentic vintage character.
In addition to the normal and top boost channels, the Vox AC15 Custom Limited Edition Classic Vintage Red features reverb and tremolo effects as well as a master section with volume control and general tone cut.
Two channels and built-in effects
Like its ancestor, which played a key role in shaping the sound of the British Invasion, the Vox AC15 CustomLimited Edition ClassicVintageRed also has two channels and integrated effects. While the guitar amplifier in the normal channel delivers a transparent Clean-Sound that reproduces the character of the electric guitar used in detail, the top boost channel impresses with a creamy Overdrive and the Vox Chime that stands out in every band. In addition to the reverb effect, which lends the sound a vivid three-dimensionality, the AC15 Custom amp is equipped with a tremolo effect adjustable in Speed and depth for classic volume modulation, the spectrum of which ranges from subtle shimmering to choppy staccato.
15 watts and Celestion Greenback
The Vox AC15 CustomLimited Edition ClassicVintage Red draws up to 15 watts of power from the power amplifier equipped with two EL84 tubes, which is not only suitable for playing electric guitar in the living room, but also has enough volume reserves to make itself heard in the rehearsal room or on the club stage. The sound is also delivered via a Celestion G12M Greenback speaker, which skillfully supports the British character of the combo amplifier with a tight bass foundation, vocal mids and clear brilliance.
This is a great amp. It has the great vox chime and for its 15 watt its extremely loud.I use this amp mainly to play U2 covers but i have played some GNR and greenday on this amp and it handles them very well
Tone cut and normal channel is a great addition to the CC1 its predecessor as is the greenback speaker by celestion. The clean sounds are absolutely amazing but when you put the volume up it has a real sweet overdrive. It handles pedals pretty well. The only downside of this amp is that its pretty heavy. But it sure is worth the tug. in its price range im pretty sure you wont find a better amp.

Adquirí el Vox AC15 C2 a finales del año pasado. Es un amplificador con una respuesta muy plana, es decir, acoge los pedales con mucho gusto. Sin duda, la combinación de proco Rat2 con esto te dará una distorsión más que consistente.
Viene con dos efectos por defecto que esta genial, tremolo y reverb. Este último, he de decir que ha dejado de funcionar, e imagino que será por el tanque de reverberación, algo que no tiene importancia alguna ya que con 20€ esto lo tienes solucionado, pero no es un defecto común.
Estoy muy contento con él a pesar de este problema, y recomendaría sin duda su compra!

Classic and very inspiring clean sound either with my fender strat or with gibson les paul. Built in Reverb and Tremolo are great additions and help constructing that beautiful sound. As far as the dirt goes dont expect to play heavy metal but its ok for some hard rock or grunge. Just put some time on the tone controls (bass and treble) and you will get few different sounds...

Excellent amp, has that classic vox sound in spades, lovely tremolo circuit also looks great and sounds great and will cover most styles of music, classic rock, country, surf, indie
