With the Vox AC10C1 Limited Edition British Racing Green , the British manufacturer is reissuing one of its original guitar amplifiers in a modernized form. First produced between 1959 and 1965, the compact Combo Amp the gap between the student amplifier AC4 and the professional AC15. Accordingly, the Vox AC10 C1, whose deep Tolex green colour provides a dignified look in the style of the most legendary British sports cars, offers a straight-line tube amplifier with two 12AX7 tubes in the preamplifier for unsurpassed dynamics and the typical " Vox chime" in the highs. In addition to the 2-Band tone control for adjusting the sound, the Vox AC10 also offers a reverb effect, which gives the guitar sound a three-dimensional, spatial depth. From two EL84 tubes the output stage draws 10 watts of power, with which the Combo guitars amplify living room and rehearsal room suitable. The power is delivered via a 10" Celestion speaker, whose vocal midrange and glassy treble perfectly match the character of the Vox AC10C1.
