The Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite Octo Custom is a Thunderbolt DSP system with 8 SHARC processors for more computing power for the use of UAD plug-ins without affecting the CPU of the hosting computer. The DSP system comes moreover with 2 Thunderbolt ports and an UAD plug-in bundle. It suits ideally in big mixing applications and can be connected to other UAD-2 devices or Thunderbolt-periphery. It is only compatible with Mac.
