The two audio interfaces NBB-04R and NBB-04T (optional) from UNiKA are ideally suited for audio transmissions thanks to Audinate Dante network technology and support up to Layer 3 of the IEEE802.3 network standard. The integration into an audio network is very simple and enables routing between UNiKA speakers and all other Dante-capable devices via Dante controller software. Recording/playback takes place via the Dante Virtual Soundcard software at up to 96 kHz at 24-bit. PCM converters provide a transparent sound image, regardless of whether you are working with line or microphone levels. Both the NBB-04R and NBB-04T have twoEthernet ports that allow you to cascade multiple NBB-04 ports. The overall picture is rounded off by the possibility of operation via an external power supply unit or an Ethernet switch, the electronically balanced NBB-04T outputs with a signal voltage of up to 24 dBu that can be regulated on the device, as well as a clip display and phantom power.
UNiKA NBB-04 R Overview
Dante-enabled networked audio receiver (NBB-04R)
Transmitter (NBB-04T) optionally available
Streaming audio over a rugged standard Ethernet cable (alias Digital Snake)
Easy organization and expansion of network topology with Ethernet switches
Uncompressed 24-bit PCM encoding with sampling rates up to 96KHz
Two RJ-45 ports make daisy-chain cascading possible.
Power supply via PoE or 48V adapter possible
Gain or attenuate control for each channel
Phantom power control per channel (NBB-04R)
One signal clamp display for all inputs (NBB-04R)
XLR combo sockets for XLR and telephone plugs (NBB-04R)
Routing and other configurations are set using the Dante Controller software.
