The Two Notes OPUS at a glance
The Two Notes OPUS is the ideal all-purpose solution for guitarists looking for a versatile rig with first-class sound. Based on the C.A.B. series models, the Opus from French manufacturer Two Notes combines professional state-of-the-art modelling, high-quality impulse responses from classic speaker configurations and practical studio-quality effects. Naturally, the Two Notes OPUS has numerous connection options, including a MIDI interface, inputs and outputs for amplifiers and speaker cabinets, a USB-C port and Bluetooth.
Amp simulation with Tube-Stage Modeling (TSM) technology
The basis for the amazingly authentic sounds of the Two Notes OPUS is the groundbreaking Tube-Stage Modeling (TSM) technology. This aims to faithfully reproduce a wide variety of preamp and power amp circuits and allows different preamp sections to be combined with four different power amp tube models, from the 6L6 to the EL34 and EL84 to the KT88. Even the operating mode of the power amp can be determined, for example to simulate conventional Class A/B operation or a 'single ended' Class A power amp.
DynIR Engine for first-class cab sounds
Also on board the Two Notes OPUS is the DynIR Engine, familiar from numerous Two Notes products, which presents different cabinet configurations in an incredibly authentic and flexible way. 32 different cabinet models can be paired with 8 microphones per cabinet and 12 detailed room emulations to give your own sound three-dimensionality. If you want to rely on the ear of renowned guitarists, you can fall back on numerous factory-installed Artist Series presets by Pete Thorn, Tom Quayle, John Browne and many more.
Simple operation via Torpedo Remote
To make the operation of the Two Notes OPUS as comprehensive but also as simple and straightforward as possible, Two Notes uses its tried-and-tested Torpedo Remote software. The extremely useful app can be used on a variety of operating systems such as iOS, Android, Windows and MacOS and offers access to all conceivable parameters, providing all the necessary tools for everything from rough adjustments to fine-tuning your own sound creations. Depending on the interface used, Two Notes Torpedo Remote can be connected either via the USB-C port on the side or via the Bluetooth interface integrated in the Two Notes Opus.
Connection options for every situation
With its wide range of connection options, the Two Notes OPUS is perfectly at home in the living room as well as in the studio, rehearsal room or on stage. The universal connection socket with associated IN Level switch can be used to connect signals at instrument or line level as well as signals coming from external amplifiers. In this case, the adjacent socket serves as a connection for cabinets so that the Opus can be easily integrated into amp stacks. On the other side, there are connections for MIDI, headphones and an AUX input, while the XLR DI Out with ground lift switch and the additional Line Out allow connection to all kinds of devices such as mixing consoles, audio interfaces and much more.
Attention: The Two Notes OPUS is not a load box. When connecting an amplifier to the amp/instrument/line input, a speaker cabinet with the appropriate impedance must be connected to the speaker connection!
