For the development of the Traveler Guitar LTD EC-1 Vintage Black the Californian pioneers of the compact travel guitar and the Japanese metal giant ESP joined forces to create the ultimate instrument for the mobile Metalhead. With its scaled-down ESP Eclipse design, the electric guitar is ideal for writing juicy riffs on the road, as a companion for your next trip or for quiet practice in your own four walls. Thanks to the full scale, a hot ESP humbucker and the extensive electronics, no compromises in sound and feel have to be accepted despite the compact dimensions.
Despite its ultra-compact design, the Traveler Guitar LTD EC-1 offers the familiar playing comfort of a full 24.75" scale (628 mm) guitar. The special holder, which replaces the head plate, guides the strings over the body before they reach the locking mechanisms on the back of the body via a pulley. Oval openings allow easy access to the mechanical wings, making tuning quick and easy.
The sound of the Traveler Guitar LTD Eclipse is also equal to that of a "big" electric guitar. The active ESP Designed ALH-200B ceramic humbucker on the bridge promises a juicy sound that proves to be a real riff wrecking ball and can pop every note with tight attack. The integrated Traveler Guitar V2 headphone amplifier, which offers four high-quality sounds with Clean, Boost, Overdrive and Distortion, allows you to reproduce the sound for quiet practice. In this case, a backing track can be played back from the appropriate playback device via the aux-in. Of course the Traveler Guitar LTD EC-1 also offers a jack output for connection to the guitar amplifier.
