The bag is secure and offers very good protection for the Mantis. The pocket on the front is just about big enough for the power supply and some patch cables.
However, it's quite hard to get the Mantis into the bag. It's a very tight fit and it's not a quick process. It's even harder with the Decksaver, which I've only been able to get into the bag if I put it onto the Mantis after the Mantis is already in the bag. You can forget about putting them in together at the same time. This isn't ideal. Sometimes it can take up to 5 minutes to pack everything. They could easily have given a few more mm clearance with absolutely no impact on protection.
It is a huge struggle to get the case into this bag, as it is far too small. And not a chance if you want to put it in there with a Decksaver. Shame, as it could be a great case!
I struggled to fit the case with the decksaver cover but finally managed to get them in. It's good to have a snug case because you don't want the lid to come off. I am sure it will loosen up slightly the more I use it.
Over all excellent product and makes the Mantis mobile while patched.
The fit is a little tight for the Mantis case into the bag, so it is a little awkward to get in and out. Also, there is no where to store your power supply, which isn't ideal. However, the bag does the job, the price is not unreasonable, and it is honestly just nice to finally be able to leave the house with my modular without worrying about it! So, major props to Tiptop Audio for making a whole ecosystem of storage that is really very affordable.
