The UKbased company Timber Tones specializes in the production of affectionately hand-crafted guitar picks constructed from wood, hence the name. However, over time the production line has expanded to include picks made of various metals, stone and other minerals, carbon fiber, resin/epoxy, coconut, shell, horn, bone, rubber, felt and even leather.
This luxurious item from Timber Tones consist of reconstituted stoneand resin formed under pressure. This process makes the picks far less brittle than stone alone can be and is great for lead guitarists because of the unique sound they produce and their status-symbol-esque novalty.
Sure it looks sweet, but unfortunately I never got to get used to it. I just can't get used to this material. When your fingers get sweaty, pick becomes slipery. But it sure looks nice!
