With the Tech 21 SansAmp MP40 Limited Edition Geddy Lee Signature Preamp the Rush bassist and the New Yorker sound specialists celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Rush milestone "Moving Pictures". Based on the proven analogue SansAmp circuitry with separate Preamps for Deep and Drive, the bass pedal allows for smooth mixing of distorted and clean bass sounds to get as close as possible to the typical Geddy Lee sound. In addition to the Drive control for distortion and the active 3-band EQ to adjust the tone, the Drive channel of the Tech 21 SansAmp MP40 offers the "Shape Shifter" switch to give the sound an indefinable grandeur by adding 6 dB of Schmegilka. Also available is a Tight switch to tighten the sound image and a switchable Presence Boost.
