Hollowbody guitar, hybrid, mahogany top, sapele body, 2 humbuckers, body sensor, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, 632 mm scale length, bag included.
With the Taylor T5z Classic Mahogany, Californian manufacturer Taylor presents a hybrid guitar that authentically reproduces the sound of an acoustic guitar as well as the sound of an electric guitar thanks to its clever construction and pickup assembly. A hollow construction consisting of a mahogany top with sound holes and a sapele body gives the guitar a perfect foundation for a rich and dynamic tone. Equipped with a humbucker hidden under the neck/body junction, a lipstick-style humbucker and a body sensor, the T5z Classic offers the possibility to play either expressive electric guitar solos or a rich rhythm guitar. A volume, bass and treble knob are mounted on the top of the guitar for general adjustment. To switch between the three pickups, the manufacturer installs a 5-way-switch in the frame, with which you can control the individual and one pickup pair each. A bolted mahogany neck with a fine ebony fingerboard, together with a 632 mm scale length and a nut width of 42.8 mm, also ensures optimal playing comfort in all 21 frets. The entire work is rounded off with precise die-cast tuners, which are inserted into the characteristic Taylor headstock. A sturdy case is included in the scope of delivery.
