The strictly limited 326ce Baritone-6 LTD is an all solid electro acoustic guitar by Californian manufacturer Taylor with an extra long 686 mm baritone scale length and extraordinary sound. The warm sounding mahogany top especially emphasizes the bass range of the baritone guitar tuned to standard B and harmonizes perfectly with the large Grand Symphony construction. The blackwood body further enhances the powerful and clear sound and perfectly complements the overall appearance of the guitar. A sturdily constructed mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard and a 44.5 mm nut width makes the guitar exceptionally playable despite the thick strings and long scale length. This Taylor comes with a natural sounding Taylor ES-2 pickup system and a moulded case.
Especially with baritone guitars the right selection of woods is crucial, because the by a fourth lower tuning can sound blurry and unclear. Here the manufacturer Taylor provides exactly the right touch, as the solid mahogany top gives the guitar the necessary warmth in the middle frequencies. The sound is rounded off with a blackwood back and sides. This wood produces very expressive and clear bass frequencies, making the guitar sound very warm and precise altogether. A wafer-thin Edgeburst finish gives the guitar an extremely aesthetic appearance, thus uniting the woods perfectly and harmoniously.
The robust and flat mahogany neck featuring a noble ebony fingerboard allows for comfortable playing up to the highest frets due to the 44.5 mm nut width and 686 mm scale length. Especially the cutaway helps in accessing all 20 frets, which offer the player a wide range of tones. Fine black die-cast tuners allow the player to tune precisely and fit perfectly to the overall appearance of the guitar. The Taylor ES-2 Expression Pickup System enables the acoustic sound to be reproduced authentically and naturally through an amplifier, making this instrument the perfect companion on stage. The limited edition in baritone format comes with a custom-fit brown Taylor case.
