Dreadnought acoustic guitar with solid Sitka spruce top and expression system 2 electronics
The Taylor 110e is a classic dreadnought and is the entry into the Taylor line-up. The wood combination of Sitka spruce and walnut wood for the frame and the soundboard results in a clear mix with crisp sounds for strummer and flatpicker. Last but not least, the Taylor 110e Layered Walnut is well equipped for modern studio and stage applications thanks to the Expression System 2 pickup system.

Spruce & Walnut
Walnut is a tonewood with a clear'Hi-Fi' sound image and convinces with clear trebles in the high frequency range, while a woody low-end sound at the other end of the spectrum fills the sound image. The body is finished with a top made of solid North American Sitka spruce, which is one of the most sought-after tonewoods for its overtone-rich sound.

Expression System 2 Pickup
The upgrade of the original expression system is a multidimensional pickup system with three different sensors in the bridge of the acoustic guitar. The piezo elements of the ES2, which are placed directly behind the bridge insert, absorb both horizontal and vertical vibrations and, in contrast to single source pickups, provide a more lively sound image with a large dynamic range. The gain structure of the internal preamp has also been revised, so the ES2 now sends a stronger signal to recording devices or amplifiers.
