Tascam MM-2D X

Tascam presented with the MM-2D X an excellent output device for analog audio signals , which can be used to convert two microphone/line input signals into two Dante output signals as well as two Dante input signals into two line output signals . In addition, the converter can receive and output four Dante audio channels , allowing different audio sources to be processed within an existing Dante network . The sampling rate converters support resolutions up to 96 kHz / 24 bit and thus serve high pro-audio standards. DSP Features such as mixing functions, sound processing, dynamic processing, automatic level control, auto ducking routing, noise compensation and mute functions are also on board.

As part of the "Dante Compact Processor Series" from Tascam is suitable for Dante/AES67 networks , making it suitable for public facilities, broadcast stations, recording studios or exclusive residential environments, while additional inputs and outputs for microphone/line or AES/EBU signals can be added and combined as desired.

Two different software applications for MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android are also included in the scope of delivery, with which the ML-4D/OUT can be remote controlled. Both the DCP Connect software for configuration and the EZ Connect app for end users are easy to use. In addition, all Dante Compact Processor Series models can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or an optional AC adapter. If two units are mounted side by side in a rack, it is possible to loop the power supply through to the second unit so that only one AC adapter is required.
