Tama S.L.P. G-Maple Snare Drum with Black Nickel Hardware
The Tama S.L.P. Snare G-Maple LGM146 in Kona Mappa Burl Finish is a high quality 14 "x6"snare made of maple. Consisting of 12 layers of Maple and an outer layer of MappaBurl, the shell has a total thickness of 11 mm. Maple is one of the most popular woods for snare drums because it produces a warm, deep and balanced sound. The Evans G1/Snare Side heads are held by TamaMightyHoops and, together with the Starclassic lugs give the shell plenty of room to vibrate. The entire shell hardware is refined by the Black Nickel finish, which harmonizes extremely well with the exotic Mappa Burl. The Tama S.L.P. Snare is rounded off by a 20-strand Starclassic Snare wire which is tensioned with a precise Linear Drive throw-off.
