High-end maple Drum Set from the Tama Starclassic series
The Tama MA42TZUS-DPP Starclassic Maple Shell Set Deeper Purple is a 4-piece shell set in professional quality and comes with 22" Bass drum, 10" and 12" TomToms as well as a 16" floor Tom. From the maple shells and Hardware in Black nickel finish to the eye-catching foil, the Tama Starclassic Maple MR42TZUS-DPP is professional down to the last detail and boasts exceptionally high quality standards. These include heads from Evans,Star Cast Mounting System, Quick-Lock Tom brackets and cast iron hoops. The drum shells are made from the finest maple wood, with six layers of 5 mm thickness on the Toms and eight layers of 7 mm thicknesson the Bass Drum.
Heads from Evans: Tama Starclassic
The heads for the Starclassic Maple Drums come from the Evans G2 (batter heads), G1 (resonance heads) and EQ4 (bass drum) series. They are tuned with cast zinc hoops which, just like the rest of the shell hardware, have an excellent Black Nickel Finish. The Toms are suspended vibration-neutral with the help of the Star Cast Mounting System. The Bass Drum hoop has a stylish foil inlay, which makes the overall look visually harmonious.
Quick-Lock brackets and air pockets
Tom and Floor Tom come with Quick-Lock brackets, making them particularly quick and easy to set up and take down. The Floor Tom feet are equipped with Air-Pockets, i.e. an air suspension, thanks to which the full resonance potential is utilized. For tuning stability, all clamping screws are fitted with Tama Hold Tight washers.
