Construction and woods
As the acoustic guitar is equipped with a solid spruce top, it develops very clear, balanced mid and treble frequencies. The laminated mahoganyback and sides complement the sound with warm bass frequencies, allowing the instrument to assert itself powerfully during both solos and strumming. The grippy mahogany neck promises optimum playability in all registers. The fingerboard and bridge are made from coarse-grained ovangkol.
Hardware and design
Thanks to the chrome-plated die-cast tuners, the strings can be brought into tune very quickly. The tuner integrated into the preamp of the in-house Takamine TP-4TD pickup system supports this process. The 43 mm wide synthetic bone nut is fitted to the two-piece saddle with millimeter precision so that the full tonal potential can be perfectly exploited. The double-ring soundhole rosette and the discreet dot inlays are made of pearloid.
