Supersaw / Cloud / FM / Wavetable Oscillator and Sampleplayer
Synthesis Technology combines the two classics E340 Cloud Generator and E350 Morphing Terrarium in the E352 Cloud Terrarium. The module goes far beyond this merger and gives the Hand user over 30 new functions to master this incredible soundscape.
past history
The cloud Generator could once detune up to eight sawtooth or sine waves against each other, generating extremely wide sounds. In addition, these dense sound clouds could be thinned out into small clouds, which ultimately gave the module its name. The Morphing Terrarium had 192 basic waveforms which generate over 24000 variants and output its waves on three axes (X/Y + Z).
The new one
Now both are combined with each other and much more! Noise, detuning, a sample player and 2-OP FM (for much of what made Yamaha 's FM synths of the 80s popular) are included in this oscillator! The large TFT display provides accurate information about current events, displays waveforms and modulations in real time, gives access to memory locations and the system menu.
