The Big Sky Multi Reverb goes places that no other device has ever been. With tons of development and mathematical precision, the best of the last 60 years in reverb technology has been stuffed into one compact stomp box.
The integrated “Sharc” processor gives the 12 classic studio reverbs a depth and dramatic art, as we have come to love from very expensive effect processors.
Lots of great sounding reverbs and some unique special reverb effects. Easy to use and program. Ive used the BlueSkye since it came out, the BigSky sound better and do of course have many more effects. For a compact floor unit it doesnt get much better than this unless you are going for a rack reverb unit!
Strymon and the Big Sky have a big reputation and it's not underserved. The range and variety of sounds is extensive (that's an understatement) and will take quite some time to explore and get used to. I've tried running it through a guitar and synth so far and am particularly impressed by the way it reacts with the Korg. The pedal is far less heavy (in terms of weight) than I was expecting, not a problem, just a bit surprising. The dials feel well made, secure and respond nicely. Much more playing & experimentation is needed before truly realising what the big sky can do, but early impressions are that it's a very decent pedal with a lot of potential. The sounds aren't too sterile and so far the sounds it produces are nicely balanced, atmospheric, emotive and pleasing to the ear.
this pedal is appropriate for amined sounds but have it paramters for normal reverb sounds! the price is very high but worth buy it! pedal is not robust on the other side is very ligth! disadvantage is dont meet for enable or disable foootswitch!
