Classically designed StingRay
With its Linde body and sixfold screwed maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, the classically built Sterling by Music Man SUB Ray 5 delivers a punchy basic sound with concise attack that provides the perfect basis for rocking grooves and fat slaps. The low B-string with precise articulation and harmonious balance is also integrated into the sound. The comfortable neck profile also tempts you to play bass for hours and allows every groove and run to go off your fingers.
Sterling by Music Man S.U.B. Ray 5 with typical sound
The Sterling SUB Ray 5 uses a classic SBMM humbucker with open pole pieces, which delivers the typical StingRay sound thanks to its position. With rich bass and striking treble reproduction, the 5-string bass on the amplifier delivers the perfect sound for pushing grooves and breathtaking slaps, while the low H-string is also represented with perfect definition and tone development. In addition, the five-string is equipped with active 2-band electronics, which can be used to precisely adjust the sound.
Indestructible hardware
High-quality hardware in chrome optics completes the equipment of the Sterling SUB Ray 5, so the solidly built SBMM Heavy Duty Bass bridge contributes significantly to the even sustain of the electric bass, while at the same time two-dimensionally adjustable string riders guarantee perfect intonation and string position. At the headstock, indestructible vintage-style tuners in the classic "4+1" arrangement ensure a precise and consistent mood.
