The Sterling by Music Man JP150 DiMarzio Blood Orange Burst takes the style of the classic John Petrucci signature electric guitar. The perfect guitar for progressive metal, the JP150 features chic woods, agile playability, and the premium tones of two original DiMarzio pickups.
Premium woods, high playing comfort
The Nyatoh body of the JP150 DiMarzio features wide cutaways and a round neck heel for unobstructed access to the highest registers. The five-bolt neck in the comfortable D-profile is also made of especially stable Roasted Maple. While JP Shield inlays facilitate orientation on the 24-fret ebony fingerboard, the stainless steel binding promises smooth bendings. Last but not least, the Spalted Maple veneer in transparent orange provides the dignified look of the electric guitar.
DiMarzio Pickups
Electrically transforming the tone of the Sterling by Music Man JP DiMarzio are two Petrucci Signature humbuckers from DiMarzio. On the neck, the DiMarzio Liquifire humbucker provides full clean tones and fluid overdrive, while expertly delivering playful detail. The DiMarzio Crunch Lab on the bridge promises taut crunch and distortion, rendering every note with merciless precision even at low tunings and high gain. If desired, the switchable 12 dB Boost tickles the last bit of gain and volume out of the guitar amp.
