Chic headless Bass in set-neck construction
For the construction of the Spirit XT-35 Headless Bass Steinberger uses the classic set-neck construction. The compact body in typical paddle style is made of basswood, while maple is used for the glued neck. The narrow "1960 Slim Taper D" neck profile also promises optimal conditions for agile grooving on the 24-fret fingerboard. Last but not least, the AAA-quality curly maple veneer gives the five-stringer a dignified look.
Steinberger pickups and hardware
With Steinberger HB-2 and HB-1 pickups on the neck and bridge respectively, the Spirit XT-25 delivers powerful and flexible Bass sounds on the bass amp, making the bass guitar an all-rounder for almost any style of music. Both pickups are controlled by a classic passive circuit with two volume controls and a general treble cutoff. Typical Steinberger is furthermore the patented Double Ball Bridge with Direct Pull tuners, which guarantee an especially exact tuning thanks to 40:1. Last but not least, the Spirit XT-25 Quilt Top Standard Bass can easily be played sitting down thanks to the fold-out leg rest.
