i bought it as a cheap spare guitar when we were going on tour.i ended up using it as much as my usual bass which is a much more expensive Jazz bass
This jaguars r really ergonomic, they look cool also. Squier r making great necks, with nice fretts this days, u don´t feel u r playing a cheaper bass. The pickups r very smart in this combo, u have the most usable bass tone ever, the P bass, and u have the Jaco Pastorious bridge sound, again some of the most covated bass sounds ever. If u know this sounds and how powerfull they can be, u understand that this bass is like having a P and a JB, and still u have something different then a P or a JB If u mix the pickups. What Squier offers this days is amazing value. The pickups r not in the league of more expensive ones, but they r not far behind and only side by side u can notice, really. In fact they have some mojo of their own If u like how they sound, and I do. Even If u own USA and Mexico made instruments, u can still use this bass for colour variation. If u just want something not terribly cheap, and will retain some value If u take care of it, look no further, this is an amazing bass with new design combinations and pure Fender, or pure Squer If u wish.
