More than just a student guitar
The Mustang model was launched in the sixties as a student guitar by Fender, but it has emerged over the years as an indie cult classic. Like all guitars from Fender, it has a character-rich sound and high visual recognition value, so the Mustang can not be missing in the new Squier Sonic Series. With its compact poplar body, short scale length and slim 'C' neck profile, the Squier Sonic Series Mustang MN Torino Red electric guitar offers optimal playing characteristics for any needs, whether for beginners or simply as a light companion on the road. Its ceramic single coil pickups in neck and bridge position provide tone variations with clear shimmering undertones and can be adjusted by 3-way switches and volume and Tone controls. Chrome details and hardware gleam as another highlight of the traditional Mustang build.
With its shorter scale length, the Squier Sonic Mustang MN Torino Red is an optimally compact electric guitar
The Squier Sonic Series
The Squier Sonic Series brings popular Fender instruments into the hands of beginners looking for quality at an affordable price, provides inspiration for advanced instrumentalists, and expands the Squier concept of making the Fender catalogue available to everyone. With new finishes in fresh and familiar colours, the Sonic Series electric guitars and basses offer excellent value for money.
Great little guitar for the money. Obviously not as good as a regular Fender but super for a bang around second to get a different vibe with. Nice finish too for this price point.
Only complaint is that the neck has a few little imperfections on it but those might wear off after it's played a bit.
Thumbs up overall!
